What is the NAARANA?
The First, The Largest and The Best! Started to empower, educate, to be an annual celebration of African Americans in the restaurant and nightclub industry. It quickly transitioned into a weekend celebration of all things information, food, networking, musical and FUN! It is where thousands of consumers, come to network, shop and enjoy a weekend of fun. There’s live music, interactive workshops and a plethora of information. The NAARANA provides an environment for businesses to enhance their relationships, research the market for the leading products and services, and learn about the latest best business practices, and the latest products for restaurant and nightclub industry. The NAARANA will continue to grow over the years in workshops, exhibit booths and attendees! The expo’s message is educating African Americans in the Restaurant and Nightlife industry. It is an established event that expos no signs of slowing down.
The NAARANA was founded by Jacqueline Robbins, a veteran of over 20 years in the restaurant and nightclub industry, who learned through conversations and experiences that there was a need for more information and education for African Americans in the restaurant and nightlife industry. Millions of Black Owned businesses struggle with managing their daily operation, marketing, health and safety, products and funding. Black owners in the restaurant and nightlife industry are looking for answers and acceptance. Through workshops, networking and music, the NAARANA provides positive encouragement and is a place of growth, development and establishment. It is a welcoming place where Black owned businesses in the restaurant and nightlife industry to come and become more empowered. The expo is an inspiring and life changing event as there is something here for everyone.
