About Judge Ethan Pham:
Judge Ethan Pham serves as an Associate Judge for the City of Norcross and the City of Morrow. He is also a co-founding partner, along with his wife attorney Jenny Nguyen, at the law firm of NGUYEN & PHAM, LLC where they serve the community in various legal specialties.
Born in 1981 in South Vietnam after the Fall of Saigon, Judge Pham came to the United States with his family at the age of 12. They landed and lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota for a year before moving down to settle in Rome, Georgia. His parents each worked two jobs washing dishes at local restaurants to make ends meet while he helped raise his two younger siblings, one of whom was four years old and is now a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and the other was a newborn baby and is now a registered nurse.
After college, Judge Pham worked as a Tax Software Developer for a large multinational corporation for about five years. During this time, he also became an entrepreneur when he purchased a chicken farm in 2008 to help his parents who lost their jobs at a carpet mill after 18 years due to the Great Recession. He worked as a software developer during the day and as a chicken farmer in the evening. The farm is still in operation to this day and produces between 15,000 to 18,000 eggs per day.
After he got his parents back on their feet, Judge Pham then went to law school. After law school, he worked as an Assistant City Attorney for a private law firm which represented many of the cities around the Atlanta Airport. A few years ago, he and his wife teamed up to open up their own law firm, which has 6 employees. Judge Pham and his wife are active members in our community. He serves as a member on the Gwinnett Transit Advisory Board, the Gwinnett County Police Foundation, as the general counsel for the Atlanta International Night Market, and as a committee member on the Georgia Judicial Council Standing Committee on Access to Justice.
Judge Pham was unanimously appointed to the bench in the City of Morrow, Georgia in July 2018 and to the City of Norcross in December 2019.
